Edward Harrison, 77, was born June 1, 1947, in Jacksonville, Florida to Emma Mae Williams Harrison and Eddie Harrison, Sr.

Edward attended and graduated from Stanton Vocational School, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

Edward worked as a welder prior to his retirement.  He loved spending time with his family, and he will be remembered for always smiling and joking. He was also in the "Scamboogie" Motorcycle Club.

Edward passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Morris Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma Mae and Eddie Harrison, Sr., brothers, Elijah, Everest, Ernest and Eddie Lee Harrison.

Edward is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Catherine Harrison; children, Edward Harrison, Jr., Latanya Stephenson (Zedric), Lamar Batten, Verna Skinner (Dr. Charles), Dwayne Arrington (Carrie) and Deirdre Arrington (Isaiah); grandchildren Malachi Harrison, CHI Harrison  , and Malaiah Harrison, Ruby Stephenson, Corey and Braxton Skinner, Patricia Thomas, Darius Watson, Patrick Piper, and Zoie White; sisters-in-law, Rosalee Harrison, Shelia Leftridge (Bernard) and Sunok Raveria; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends among them brother/dear friend, Arthur Brown.
