Edward Aaron Jones was born October 28, 1945 to the late Clarence and Garrieal Jones McCutchen in Jacksonville, Florida.
Edward attended the Duval County public school system and after graduation, at the age of 18, he joined the United States Marine Corp where he served his country in the Vietnam war.
Edward worked many years for Reichold Chemical where he later retired.
Edward departed this life on July 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jones and his beloved wife, Gloria Y. Jones, sister in law, Audrey Edwards.
Edward leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Garrieal Jones McCutchen; children, Isje Rafferty (Charles Rafferty), Felecia McFadden (Samuel McFadden, Jr) and Marie Jones; sisters, Gwethlyn D. Jones (Robert Wilson), Deborah Allen, Rubydean Weston (Ronald Weston Sr.), Gwynnetta Tanksley (Sam Tanksley), Felicia Best (Reginald Best) and Darriel Reed (Gregory Reed); sisters in law, Gwendolyn Edmondson (James Edmondson), Catherine Thompson (Roy Thompson), Cosandra Grover and Marybeth Mason; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends among them, his best friend for life, Leo Andrew Gipson Jr.
