Ernest was married to Rosa Lee Cooper until death did them apart.

Ernest was employed with Load King Manufacture and Supplier. Ernest later started his own Lawn Service Business.

Ernest loved to dance and have fun. He was a member of the Group Riders Motorcycle Club. He was known to them as "Scambooger II". He answered God's calling on Wednesday, December 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Lee and Emma Mae Harrison, grandchild, Deon, brothers, Everett Harrison and Elijah Harrison.
