Ernest answered the Lord's calling on April 9, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie D. Sr. and Zonnie Mae Jackson, sister, Norma Jean Bennett and brother, Eddie Jackson.

Ernest passing is a personal lost to his family, many friends, and acquaintances.

Ernest leaves to cherish his precious memories sons, Ernest Dean Jackson, Jr. and Maurice Jackson, stepson, Leonard; ex-wife and was married for 23 years, Beverly Jackson; sister, Adilah Sharif (Omar); brothers, Willie D. Jackson, Jr. and Julie Jackson (Lucy); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends among them best friends, Jimmie Major and Larry Massey.
