Gale Anita Weeks was born to the late Willard James Cooper, Jr., and late Retha L James on June 25, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida where she was a lifetime resident.

Gale attended public school in the Jacksonville area and graduated from Jean Ribault High School in 1972.

Gale married the late Amos Weeks III on November 12, 1976. This union was blessed with four children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was totally committed to her family, as always putting their needs first.

Gale other love was cruising every year with her family. Working in her garden and doing different home projects. Ordering from amazon and enjoying her seafood Fridays.

Gale worked 44 years with Ja-Ru Inc ., where she loved "BOSSING" people around as Showroom Manager.

Gale went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 1 ^st , 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Retha L James, and Willard James Cooper, Jr., husband, Amos Weeks III and brother, Lee (Santee) Williams.

Gale leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted children, De'Angelo (Chanda), LaSalle (Janei), La'Kesha (Carlton) and Kahlil; precious and loving grandchildren, De'Anna, De'Angelo Jr., De'Auntay, De'Avary, Tamera, Camren, Ra'Niyha; brother, Willard; five sisters, Leona (Sandy), Caroline (Cavin), Phyllis (Otis), Zelda, Mercidee; loving in laws, Shirley, Aaron (Burnadette), Sharon (Rayfield), Jesse (Cassandra), and Shirley (Wayne); a god daughter, Christina Jackson; an incredibly special loving friend, Cynthia Grundig; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
