Early Life and Family
Grace Sarah Sanders Ross was born on August 23, 1939, to the Late William Sanders and Grace Jackson Sanders-Jones of Paterson and Englewood, New Jersey, as well as the Bronx, New York. She was the first of two children.

Education and Career
Grace attended the New York Public School system and graduated from PS 55. She worked for Mrs. Pastoria in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, for many years as a childcare provider and domestic housekeeper.

Marriage and Family Life
Later in her life, Grace met and married James Alfred Ross in 1959. Together, they had five children. After marriage, James and Grace relocated to Passaic, New Jersey, where they purchased their first home. Grace was energetic and full of life, embracing every moment. Despite her many loves, Grace loved the Lord and openly shared her faith. She was not ashamed of her belief in God and was saved at the age of 17, professing Jesus as her Personal Savior. Grace was a devoted member of R.W. Schambach's revivals and traveled extensively to church tent revivals. She also participated in ministries led by Reverend AA Allen and Benny Hinn, among others. Grace continued to worship at home, teaching Bible studies in the attic of her home to a small group and sharing the word of God with many. She worshipped the Lord through fasting, music, and prayer. Grace loved cooking and was very skilled, often hosting holiday dinners for her family. She was courteous and always smiled while quoting Bible verses to everyone.
