Gregory J. Parker better known as "Ricky" was born November 19, 1955 to the late Jlynn Parker (Daisy) and Rachel Monroe (Harry).

Gregory attended the local public schools of Duval County and graduated from Robert E. Lee.

Gregory was employed by the city of Jacksonville until his retirement.

Gregory accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior before departing his life on December 10, 2017 with his loving family at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Anthony Reese, Sr.

Gregory leaves to cherish his precious memories: daughters, Michelle Calloway and Sheria Allen both of Jacksonville, FL; siblings, Walter Solomon (Tracy) of California, Vernon Jonson (Angela) of Rivera Beach, FL, Marilyn Wilson (Willie) of Jacksonville, FL, Harriet Monroe of Jacksonville, FL and Tangela Graham of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Rachel Leah Dunson, Anthony Reese, Jr. and Demetrice Allen; aunties, Mary Parker, Pinky Ree Parker, Harrison Parker (Francis) of Palm Coast, FL, Mable Smith, Lessie Maddox of Tampa, FL, and Harriet Mae Garvin; uncle, Fred Maddox; nephews, Vernon Johnson, Jr., Eric Solomon, Carlos Green (Maria), Johnny Jackson, Tariea Huntley; nieces, Tonya Vaughn (Quinton), Rashara Harrison, Rachel Green, Marilyn Monroe and Monique McCray; among the family a special god sister, Betty Jean Hackley and dear friend Marilyn Marshal, Annie Reese and Katherine Shuman and many other sorrowing great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
