Iris Arletha Jenkins was born on April 4, 1978 to the late Arthur Lee Jenkins, Sr. and Patricia F. King-Jenkins in Jacksonville, Florida.
Iris was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School class of 1996. She further her education at Florida State Community College.
Iris accepted Christ at a very early age. She was a faith member of Victory Tabernacle Church, under the leadership of Bishop L. A. Nicholas, Sr. and Pastor Jerome W. Nicholas.
Iris answered the calling of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 23:22 p.m. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Lee Jenkins, Sr..
Iris leaves to cherishes her precious memories a devoted and faithful mother, Patricia F. King-Jenkins; sisters, Marian Buggs and Joy Crum (Quinton); brothers, Samuel J. (Shelita) Kiser, Warren Jenkins (Joann) and Arthur Lee Jenkins, Jr. (LaToya) ; uncles, Harold King (Marie), Donald King, Beasley King, Ozzie "Chico" (Jackie) Jenkins and Norman Jenkins; aunts, Elsie Gross (Derryl) and Eileen King; great grand aunts, Leslie Simmons and Eura Dell King; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and adoring friends among them her devoted friend, David Bradley.
