Lester Lee Samuels, 67, was born August 11, 1956, in Jacksonville, Florida to Arleter and Alberta (Williams) Samuels.

Lester attended and graduated from Nathan Bedford Forrest, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.

Lester enjoyed fishing, making people laugh and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family, and he will be remembered for always smiling and joking.

Lester passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at First Coast Health and Rehab Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arleter and Alberta Samuels, brothers, Arthur Samuels, Jr. and David Samuels, Sr., sisters, Delores Ervin, and Ilar Samuels.

Lester is survived by his devoted and loving significant other, Jacqueline Dubois: children, Lester L. Williams, Lawrence L. Samuels, Lakisha L. Samuels, Laval l. Samuels, Isaac Ardley, and Kalvina Collier; other children, Teneshia Wells and Darrell Dubois; 21 grandchildren; sister, Rita Herring (Rev. John); 3 brothers, Austin "Sam" Samuels, Johnny Samuels, Ricky Samuels (Angela);   sister-in-law, Lisa Cagle Samuels; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
