Sharon Melinder Brown was born on September 17, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Roy and Carrie Brown.

Sharon graduated from the Duval County School System and obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant training from Flagler Medical School.  She was employed as a CNA for more than 25 years in local nursing facilities and hospital. She also worked as a caregiver in numerous family homes, providing care, support, and comfort.

Sharon was known for her kind spirit, dedication to her patients and to be extremely hard working often holding down two jobs simultaneously. Everyone knew her as Jacarie's Mother, the Prince, and the love of her life, when not working Sharon and Jacarie were inseparable.  Sharon was gracious and generous to a fault, if she thought you were in need she was there and if you had a need she was supportive.

Along with her favorite phrase CHild boo, another favorite quote she often shared was: We delight in the beauty of a butterfly, but rarely do we admit the change it had gone through to achieve that beauty.

Sharon peacefully slept away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 to answer God's calling. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Roy Brown

Sharon leaves to cherish her loving memories, a loving son, Jacarie; her loving, caring and devoted mother, Carrie Brown; sister, Cynthia Brown and brother, Ronnie Coley (Nkisha); a host of cousins and other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
